The Splash Zone Automatic OTF Knife is an out the front knife with a contoured aluminum handle and red stainless-steel blade. The switch to deploy the blade is in the center of the handle as opposed to the side. This means that it is easier to deploy the blade with one hand. The blade itself is a deep crimson shot through with tens of curves creating a lattice of texture along the blade face. There is a fuller in the center of the blade with hole cutouts to reduce weight and provide balance. The smaller details are always the showstoppers, aren’t they? Not only is the blade on this beauty a deep red in contrast to the matte black handle, the screws themselves that are in the handle are red as well.
